HaHbB3 Serum

Directions:  For external use onlyApply a few drops to the face and neck, morning & night after cleansing and toning. Once absorbed, follow your usual moisturiser. To get the best results, use in conjunction with the Harriet Botanicals range.

Plants are Powerful! - Patch testing is recommended when incorporating a new product into your skincare regime & is an easy way to determine if you have a negative reaction to a new product. Apply a small amount of the product to clean skin on upper forearm & allow to dry, check for any redness, burning, itching, or irritation after 24 hours. If irritation occurs, do not use the product.

Storage: Store out of sunlight below 24˚C. Use within 12 months.

Ingredients: Aloe vera gel (water, glycerin, carbomer, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, phenoxyethanole, ethylhexylglycerin, aminomethyl propanol), Hyaluronic acid solution 1% (organically formulated from bacterial fermentation & includes: water, sodium hyaluronate, benzyle alcohol & dehydroacetic acid), Horsechestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum, ethanol), niacinaminde. Essential oils: Matricaria recutita (German Chamomile), Daucus carota sativa (Carrot seed oil), Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender), Boswellia (Frankincense), Juniperus virginiana (Cedarwood). preservatives: D-alpha tocopherol (Vitamin E) & Geoguard 221 (Inc: Benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid).

Hyaluronic (pronounced hi-ah-lew-ron-ic) acid

Is a polysaccharide that occurs naturally in the body, especially in the skin, joints, and eyes.  It’s a gooey, slippery substance that helps keep the body well-oiled and hydrated. It can bind up to 1000 times its weight in water, keeping water molecules on the surface of the skin for super hydration, increased flexibility and stretch, which reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

Horse chestnut Seed Extract (Aesculus hippocastanum)

 The good old conker…. Who knew the seeds we used to smash together as kids could have such powerful properties? The active component in horse chestnut is Aescin and, along with the flavonoids present in the plant, provides superior antiaging actions (as with most plants, the whole plant works synergistically together to produce the powerful actions). 

Topical use has shown that it increases the contraction force of fibroblasts, which secrete collagen, improving the structural framework of the skin, which creates the anti-aging magic, the study reported a 'wrinkle smoothing effect' after 6 weeks use (Wilkingson & Brown, 1999).

Niacinamide (vitamin B3)

Reduce inflammation, eases redness, eczema, acne, and other inflammatory skin conditions. It works with the skin to regulate oil production, reduce fine lines, age spots and brightens the complexion.  It smooths the skin and reduces pore size over time. Niacinamide also helps to build healthy skin and reverse sun damage.

The Essential Oils

German Chamomile has a slight blue colour and has a sweet herbaceous tone with fruity undertones.  It’s essential oil is extensively used in cosmetics.  It has properties that reduce redness and is valued in the treatment of dry skin conditions.

Carrot seed oil is an amber coloured oil with rich woody ‘earthy’ scent.  It has a sweet fresh top notes with rich spicy undertone.  It’s is beneficial for cellular regenteration and improves the complexion, noted as one of the strongest revitalising essential oils, bringing brightness to dull, tried skin.

Cedarwood is a yellowish oil with an interesting aroma,  described as strongly aromatic with a deep woody undertone with the ability to balance oil production.

Lavender’s delightful herbaceous floral scent and anti-inflammatory properties is a versatile oil and in skin care can sooth dry skin and reduce inflammation.

Frankincense is a pale-yellow in coulour with a heady fresh aroma and a subtle lemon note.  Beneficial in protecting the skins cells and upregulating healing and is recommended for dry mature skin.
