Healthy hot chocolate
There’s nothing like a hot chocolate to warm you up on these cold wintery days. My version here is a healthy version, free from refined sugar and dairy…. give it a try.
I steam my almond milk which gives it a nice bit of frothiness but you can just warm the milk in a pan if you don’t have a milk steamer.
Ingredients
1 tsp of pasture raised collagen
1/4 tsp of raw cacao powder (Add more if you like a more intense flavour)
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of medicinal mushrooms (optional)
1/2 tsp of coconut sugar
2 tsps. of coconut cream
1 cup almond milk
Method
Put the first five ingredient in a mug, add a little milk (about a tablespoon) and blend into a runny paste
Put the milk and coconut cream into a pan and warm gently
Add the warm milk and coconut cream to the chocolate paste and stir
